Jim Ray (President) - has over 30 years of experience managing oil and gas operations and his primary efforts are focused on overseeing the company's overall operations, including exploration and development, lease acquisitions and procedures, drilling and completions, field operations, and general administration. Jim was raised in the oil patch, working from an early age for his father and founder of Famcor Oil, Floyd Ray, fairly steadily except for a stint in the Air Force. He started working on rigs in the Rockies in the late 60's in various capacities, ultimately overseeing drilling, completion, and production operations in the Rockies, and in South and East Texas, and along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. When Floyd Ray passed away in 1996, Jim took over the helm of Famcor as President.
Larry Drake (Senior Geophysicist) - Larry's primary focus is interpretation of 2D & 3D seismic data across Famcor's prospects and overseeing the processing of other data on areas of interest held by Famcor. Larry is a 1965 West Virginia University graduate and was with Exxon and General Crude until the early 1980's at which time he started his consulting career.
Kerry Adams (Engineer) - Kerry is a registered Professional Engineer and has over 35 years in the business. His responsibilities include being a liaison with Famcor's bank and reviewing the company's participation in any acquisitions or sales of properties. Kerry graduated from the University of Texas in 1969 with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. Kerry also has a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston (1973) and is a member of SPE & SPEE.
Jerry Drake (Exploration Manager) - Jerry's duties focus on prospect generation through the integration of both 2D & 3D seismic data, reviewing submittals and other outside opportunities, and prospect marketing. Jerry has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology from West Virginia University and was with Chevron, Columbia Gas, & Texas Oil & Gas prior to beginning his consulting career in the early 1980's.
Ray McCloskey, CPL (Land Manager) - is a Certified Professional Landman with over 32 years of experience as a Houston based petroleum landman. His responsibilities at Famcor include management and oversight of lease acquisition and prospect assembly, as well as negotiating and drafting of all land related documents such as, farm-outs, operating agreements and letter agreements. He attended the University of Texas at Austin.
Russell Boles (Drilling Superintendent) - has over 25 years of experience managing drilling operation and his primary efforts are focused on overseeing the company's drilling efforts and coordinating multiple other field operations.
